Financial Overview

For every dollar we raise, Enterprise leverages $18 to invest in affordable housing. Of every dollar raised, 85 cents goes toward our affordable housing and community development program activities nationwide.

Total invested since inception: $9 billion
Total invested in 2006: $1.2 billion

Here are some additional achievements:

  • Together with our partners, Enterprise helped to build or preserve more than 225,000 affordable homes in communities across the nation.
  • Enterprise has produced more than 9,000 green, affordable homes in more than 200 communities nationwide.

  • We invested $784 million in low-income housing tax-credit equity to help build more than 8,500 affordable homes.

  • We invested $197 million in supportive housing for people with special needs.

  • We committed $184 million in low-cost loans to help build or preserve more than 7,400 affordable homes nationwide.
