Getting involved can be as big as taking your time and energy to become a mentor or as little as donating a few dollars with some friends. But no matter – big or small – it all makes a huge impact. Photo: Harry Connolly |

Giving Circles provide individuals with an opportunity to increase the impact of their individual philanthropy by joining with friends and family.
In this case, we offer a simple equation: if your Enterprise Giving Circle raises $5,000, Enterprise will leverage the gifts and build a new home for a hurricane victim’s family or a disadvantaged family in need of secure housing. The individuals in your Circle will celebrate a tangible victory when they see a picture of completed homes, learn about the families who have benefited from their gift, and perhaps even plan a trip to tour their “sister” community.
Most importantly, enjoy pulling your Circle together! That’s the intangible something that make Giving Circles such a compelling way to re-invigorate the movement for affordable housing!
The Enterprise Women’s Network is a diverse group of women committed to building stronger communities in Baltimore. Over the past several years, the EWN has enhanced public school programming in the distressed Sandtown-Winchester area of West Baltimore by:
- Raising more than a million dollars.
- Gathering more than 9,000 books for school libraries.
- Providing professional development opportunities for teachers.
- Spending more than 2,000 hours mentoring disadvantaged girls.
